PONT and Galicica National Park have been working together to create a video highlighting the recent reorientation undergone by the park management: the move from a reliance on deforestation for funding to a conservation focused financing model.
Last week, a team of professionals from PONT, Galicica National Park and Focus Pocus Films gathered in various locations across the stunning vistas offered by the park to film a number of interviews and scenic footage. The footage is now in production in Skopje and, once completed, will be a vital marketing tool for both PONT and Galicica National Park, as well highlighting the region as a tourism hotspot.
PONT Executive Director, Mirjam de Koning, is in the process securing a slot at the World Conservation Congress in Marseille for the video to be shown to the attendees, a monumental opportunity to inform a large and varied, yet highly relevant, audience about the work of PONT and Galicica National Park, and the touristic appeal of the region in general.
