Programme Coordinator

Anila Shehu is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in project management and holds a master’s degree in public administration. Throughout her career, Anila has focused on contributing to positive change in various communities, particularly those identified as vulnerable populations. Her areas of expertise encompass stakeholder engagement, programme management, and project implementation.

Anila’s background includes a substantial decade-long period of employment with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), during which she played key roles in leading and coordinating various programmes and projects. Notably, she took on responsibilities as the National Programme Coordinator for the “STAR” project and as the Community Coordinator for the “EU4School” program.

In addition to her UNDP involvement, Anila also served as a senior governance and income-generating advisor at SNV. In this role, she gained valuable expertise in areas such as strategic planning and analysis, policy development, and leading participatory change processes. Her work has extended to both Albania and the broader Balkan region, enriching her understanding of local communities, organisations, and institutions engaged in natural resource management and conservation.
